An iC-Embedded ASeC is a programmable Application Specific Embedded Controller (ASeC) that is used to bridge and convert iC-Haus technology data and interfaces to your unique embedded application.
iC-Embedded ASeC chip solutions are standard RISC controller devices which are programmed with our NextGen IP firmware library to speak the iC-Haus BiSS-C protocol and can access/modify encoder register data (e.g., position and/or commutation zeroing).
ASeC chip solutions can also convert encoder absolute position data to simple embedded interfaces and protocols (e.g., UART, PWM, DAC, SPI, I2C, Analog, etc.).
An example of such an ASeC is our eM-23 device which bridges the iC-Haus iC-PZ BiSS-C encoder to a customer defined UART ASCII protocol.
